Server Load Balancing improves application responsiveness by distributing the application workload evenly across servers. When servers aren't exposed to spikes in traffic they perform better and more predictably. High Availability

EQ/OS offers a very comprehensive application availability solution suite with 4 levels of availability.

• Level 1 - At the cluster level you can set probe parameters and options to tailor probes for your specific configuration and applications.
• Level 2 - At the network appliance level EQ/OS allows Equalizer hardware or virtual appliances can be configured in fault tolerant configuration with a redundant Equalizers.
• Level 3 – Enterprise wide multi, datacenter redundancy is supported with Global Server Load Balancing
• Level 4 – Presence is always maintained even when no servers are available. With built in responder commands and internal or external redirect capabilities.
